Teenage Gaming Prodigy on Everest Regrets

Ryan Mitchell worked his early teenage years on a vegetable farm until he had enough money to buy a computer. From there he carried out his lifelong dream of becoming a YouTube gamer, gaining over two million subscribers across all of his channels and turning it into a full time career.

Then at 18, he was magnetized towards the idea of climbing Mount Everest, and at 19 he documented his entire journey to standing on top of the world. He made a four-hour YouTube video showing the entire 42-day climb, which you can watch below.

Now, a year later, he talks about the personal sacrifice that went into climbing it and released two videos, one about how it ruined his life and one about how he regrets climbing it.

With that being said, it looks like he’s planning on attempting to climb K2 at some point over the next few years.
