Sony’s INZONE gaming lineup is all set to see the addition of its brand-new OLED gaming monitor this month with decent specifications.
Identical design but with OLED panel: Sony is reportedly resuming its INZONE monitor lineup
Sony is mostly known for its gaming consoles and other consumer electronics such as headphones, TVs, and other audio devices but it also entered the gaming monitor market in 2022 with its first-ever INZONE M9 gaming monitor. Since then, the company has been silent until now when it looks like Sony wants to make a comeback with a new offering.
As reported by 孤城Hardware on Weibo, Sony is introducing its first OLED INZONE gaming monitor. This is going to be the flagship model and by its appearance, one can easily tell that the monitor resembles the INZONE M9. Except for the OLED display, the exterior, including the bezels and stand looks identical to the INZONE M9. No information about its specifications or features has been revealed yet but we do have its pic.
Apart from the INZONE M9, Sony also introduced the more affordable option, the INZONE M3. However, as the competition got fierce, other monitor manufacturers went quite ahead of Sony, releasing high-quality displays with modern gaming technologies. Every year, monitor makers come with feature-rich monitors that look better than ever. Whether you want to play games or do some color-grading tasks, modern gaming monitors are on par with professional displays and can achieve several things at once.
Hence, it makes sense that Sony wants to take a chunk of the monitor market with its latest OLED gaming monitor, which will supposedly compete with other high-end OLED gaming monitors. It’s reported that the new Sony INZONE OLED gaming monitor will launch on 25th September, which is just a few days from now.
There is no word on the pricing yet but considering the prices of the INZONE M9, you can expect it to be close to $1000 or at least in the $800-$1000 range if it boasts 1440p resolution. If the resolution comes out to be 4K, it could easily cost more than $1000.
